The Central and State governments together cover up to 60% of project costs. You sign a Power Purchase Agreement with your local DISCOM at a locked tariff, and payments begin from the day your plant generates its first unit — no middlemen, no uncertainty.

PM-KUSUM is not a single product — it's a framework with three distinct pathways. Whether you own land near a substation, run a diesel pump, or already have a grid connection, there's a component built for you.

Component A

Convert Your Land into a Power Plant

Landowners install ground-mounted solar plants on barren or agricultural land close to grid substations. Every unit produced is purchased by the DISCOM at a state-fixed tariff — your land becomes a 25-year annuity.

Component B

Kill the Diesel Bill. Irrigate for Free.

Diesel pump sets are the most expensive recurring cost for millions of Indian farmers. Component B replaces them with solar-powered units that run at zero fuel cost — and in off-grid areas, they run whether or not the state grid is up.

Component C

Your Existing Pump Becomes an Income Source

Engineering & Sourcing

Detailed site survey, yield modelling, structural drawings, equipment selection, and purchase orders placed with our vetted manufacturer network.

Days 45–65

Construction

Foundation, GI structure, module mounting, string wiring, inverter installation, and all AC infrastructure built by our certified field teams.

Days 65–85

Commissioning & Inspection

String-level testing, performance ratio verification, grid protection relay checks, DISCOM meter installation, and third-party inspection clearance.

Yes — Component A is built exactly for this situation. Individual farmers, cooperative societies, panchayats, FPOs, and water user associations all qualify. The two non-negotiable criteria are: land ownership (or long-term lease) and proximity within 5 km of a 33/11 kV substation. The land doesn't need to be actively farmed. We do a free site check before you commit to anything.

For Component B, only 10% of the project cost comes from your pocket — 60% is covered by government subsidy and 30% by a bank loan. That 10% is typically recovered within 6–8 months purely from diesel fuel savings. For Component A, the financial structure differs; contact us and we'll model your specific project economics within 48 hours.

Once the government sanctions your project, Adhiraj guarantees commissioning within 90 days. We begin documentation the day you engage us, so the sanction-to-generation gap is as short as possible. Our fastest projects have gone from first site visit to COD in under 80 days.

From the initial DISCOM application and PPA negotiation to grid synchronisation approval, COD inspection, and meter activation — our team represents your interest at every government counter. The majority of our clients never visit a single government office throughout the entire process.

In Rajasthan, a 1 MW Component A plant generates 15–17 lakh units annually given the region's solar irradiation levels. At prevailing DISCOM tariffs of ₹3.10–₹3.80 per unit, gross income ranges from ₹46–64 lakhs per year — locked in for 25 years. After O&M costs and loan repayment, net income is meaningfully positive from year one. We'll build a site-specific model for your plot at no charge.
